Avondale CPR provides personal care assistant for non-skilled, task-oriented, hands-on assistance to individuals who need support to safely remain in their homes. These services help clients maintain their independence, dignity, health, and comfort.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Support
Attendants assist clients with routine personal care tasks essential for daily functioning, including:

Bathing, grooming, and hygiene support

Dressing and undressing
-
Toileting assistance & incontinence care

Transfer assistance (bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet, etc.)

Ambulation assistance
-
Feeding assistance
-
Support with mobility devices

Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
Tasks that support independent living and home functioning, including:

Light housekeeping
-
Laundry and linen care
-
Meal planning and preparation
-
Grocery shopping and errands
-
Assistance with managing appointments
-
Organization and routine household tasks
-
Escort to appointments (nonmedical)

Companion and Social Support Services
To enhance emotional well-being and reduce social isolation, PAS attendants provide:

Conversation and companionship
-
Recreational and social activities
-
Reading assistance and mental stimulation
-
Safety supervision and observation
-
Assistance with communication and phone use
Upcoming Courses

BLS Skills Test
We will travel to a local Library near you between 10am -2pm to perform BLS Skills testing. Proof of online portion must be provided the day before skills testing.
